howdy brother bolters this core support is whipping me and i need it out ! i've removed what i thought was all bolts out of it but still move . any help would be great thanks again Doug

The core support or radiator support, is attached to the inner fenders, along the bottom edge, as well as, to the frame-to-core support perches. There are also 4 bolts, that go through the lower front of the core support, that attach it to the mounting flanges of the inner fenders. There are also two bolts, in the nose of the front fenders, that secure them, to the radiator support. There are a total of 16-18 fasteners, securing the core support, to the inner fenders, front fenders and the frame perches.

As a minimum, I highly recommend acquiring this manual:

Hey 2 stepsides, lemme know where you got hung up as I am about to do the same Job in the next few weeks. Seems as though the battery was leaking and the passenger side of the support is clean rotted through.. Serious racket hitting bumps. I'm fixing to run through and oil up all the bolts... What is the likelihood of doing this without pulling the radiator? Is it too sketchy to wrap some cardboard around the radiator to keep it from htting the fan and hold it up with a jack? I gotta get that manual!

Thanks Tony , you where right on the money. i missed the four bolts in the lower part of support now i've got them out the job was very easy . i've already sandblasted the core support and it looks like brand new . and 16hp guy its alot easier if you take out the radiator . good luck with yours 16hp
