Would like to replace the interior cardboard door panels. See there are two types, standard and deluxe. The deluxe has more of a leather grain to it
What do you think came with the truck originally? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 457 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 457 | I had a '49 five window awhile back, it was the the Deluxe model with stainless garnish around door windows. I would think any five window would be Deluxe and go that route. Somebody out there probably knows if there was a "standard" five window????

In 1952-53, there were no bright-work options available and the 5-window cab was an option by itself.
In 1954/55, the five window cab was an option by itself AND there were a couple other different de luxe 5-window cab options.
The original question was regarding leather interior covers. In 1949, there was an RPO-361C Leather Trim, Genuine, but the Truck Data Book does not describe the components in this option.

Came out good except for the top corner nearest the dashboard. Seems an half inch to large and sticks out a bit. Is there a trick involved in installing them? | | |
