I see from one of your other posts that you have a 58-59 Fleetside. We have wood bed kits for this. Just put your year, make and model on the website's online catalog and look for the parts available list on the left hand side. There are wood bed kits which include the wood, strips and hardware or you can choose each of these parts from a number of options separately.
ALSO We are having a Free Shipping special right now which on a Fleetside wood bed kit would be HUGE savings for you. If you are in the continental US, all you pay is the $8.95 handling fee and we'll pay for the UPS ground shipping!
You can see our ad for this special on the forum here:
https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=742435#Post742435
Thanks!

1958 GMC Nut / Dave.....ship your stuff to Hagens in Blaine, WA
They will receive it for you for a few bucks - then run down and get it. Works great for all car parts and those deals where shipping is free to the " Lower 48 "

Wow I forgot I posted here.
Is the free shipping deal still on?
Also I don't want oak, just the same old pine or what ever the factory installed. Most important, is the wood drilled and have to correct offset counter bores?
I will be coloring it all like factory black.

You Mar k guys need to make all parts for these trucks.

Not only is the free shipping deal still on, but right now we have 10% off til May 31st. See the ad here:
https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=748652#Post748652

Yes, you can buy the wood with the countersunk bed-to-frame mounting holes alreay in it! The only holes you have to drill are the simple ones on the sides that go under your angle strips.

The black is the most durable. You can see some information about that on our wood testing article here:
http://www.mar-k.com/wood_finish_testing_ii.html

Hope that helps!!

The phone number should be on the ad.

We do not sell any of the finishing products. We just tell you what products worked in our tests.
Hope this helps!

Okay heres the deal.
Since Im on the west coast theres a time difference. How late is your outfit open?
Heres what I want, for 1959 3200 Chevrolet fleetside, its the 8 foot length long bed.
Pre drilled everything wood and steel rails, this is original type resto, also bed front and rear sill, would do the all cross sills too if there is a good packaged deal. The 31st is when I'd try to call 3:30 or so my time. So if I get through just ask for Mar-Ktech?

Dale937 and oldbluetruck did what I did on my '36 Chevy pickup. They made their own.

All it takes is some kiln dried wood of your choice and a table saw. A lot of guys like oak and even Home Depot has that in all kinds of widths and lengths. Other, more exotic woods are readily available too in urban areas. I used vertical grained fir and it still looks very presentable 45 years after it was installed.

Why pay somebody to do the simple task of running some wood planks across a table saw to rip the width and grooves and cut the length? Another benefit of doing it yourself is you get to hand select every piece of wood instead of being stuck with what somebody sends you.

Our sales office hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Oklahoma time. We are closed if you call at 3:30 California time. Can you place the order using our on-line catalog? All items and prices are there and are the same as when you call.

If you call during Mar-K office hours, just ask for someone in sales and they will be glad to take your order.

You guys need to modify your hours for west coasters. I do not ever give out my credit card over the internet. EVER.
Reason, the nasty bugs I get in my computer. If I have a key logger they got my everything. So maybe the next time I take a day off work, you guys would be nice enough to give me the free shipping deal. I'd really rather purchase from a USA made place than not.

I like phone ordering from pacific to more easterly time zones, do it early before they're busy

We share your concern about putting credit card information out on the internet. When you place an order on line with Mar-K, we don't ask for any credit card information there. One of our sales people will call the next day to get the card number and go over the order with you. When you order, just leave a daytime phone number where you can be reached for that information.

Also, Truckrolet - today is the last day to get 10% off AND Free Shipping. So today is a great day to call us OR place your order online and we'll call you and you don't have to put in your credit card number online!

Can't use the company phone for that sort of thing. Local calls only.
