The '65 in cab tank was not easy. I replaced the gasket on the cab, the filler neck, the rubber tube, and the tank.

I put in the gasket on the cab. Then put the filler neck into the gasket. I put the rubber tube on the tank and cinched that down. Then I put that into the cab and had to create a new joint in my wrist to get the rubber tube over the filler neck and cinch down that screw clasp.

That seemed the best way to me...took about 30 minutes or so...and only a couple of cuss words.

I have seen pics of others that have the filler neck already in the rubber tube, but I can't figure out how they get that to fit into the gasket since it is a tight fit.
