I'm getting ready to replace the original steering gearbox on my '32 Chevy. Any suggestions on using the Vega vs. F-1 steering gearbox?

123456789101112, is that '32 a street rod? If so, are any of the original pieces still around? I'm looking for a transmission case with casting number 590532 that was used in many '32-'36 Chevy applications. I'm sure somebody out there has one rusting away or in use as a door stop or flower pot.

I have a Vega steering box in a roadster street rod and I was able to get seals for it locally in Santa Rosa (Sonoma County). I'll dig up the seal numbers if that would be helpful to you. Also, the correct grease for that steering box is available from John Deere tractor dealers. Thick chassis or wheel bearing grease is wrong in that application.
