I am looking for a pair of 6400 hood emblems for my 1948 Chevy 2 ton. I am also in need of a good source for parts for this type of truck. Thanks in advance

I found my 6400 emblems in the swap meet section of Stovebolt.com. It took me a few years to get a set. Well worth the wait! But somebody has a set on a parts truck in a yard somewhere! Good luck.

NAPA is a good source for 2 ton parts but you have to talk to the old guys there. The new kids only use the computer and can't find what I needed/need.

I have the same problem at my local napa. The problem is there are only young workers and none of them will look in the books they generally just say we have nothing that goes back that far

1948 didn't use 6400 emblems. They only had the Chevrolet Loadmaster emblem.

I've got a couple of the '47/'48 Chevrolet 2 ton "Loadmaster" emblems, if you need them. Send me a PM.
