Hello from Central PA. I just received a 56 3100 pickup a few weeks ago and I wanted to get the ball rolling on restoration and this website was HIGHLY recommended. So help me out folks. I'm open to any and all suggestions on how to start. Thanks for the help!!

start by reading all you can around here, especially the tech tips, and check out the Task Force [55-59] trucks in the gallery, lots of info to absorb as grist for your mill, then head to the different subject specific forums with your questions .... get a shop manual from any of the vendors listed in the links sections .... also be sure to bookmark the old manual site .... and good luck with it

Hey Ratrod,
Cool Name, Welcome to the Bolt. I'm new here as well, and I've found alot of useful info just by reading.
I read on reply on here from one of the really smart guys that said, "work on your truck 15 min a day and you'll be suprised of the results in a year" - or something like that.
Anyway you get the idea.
Chris
