If I lock on side of the differential down, how fast will the free hub turn? Twice as fast as normal? or the same speed as the drive shaft? I have been told both.

| | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 21 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 21 | Thanks, I think the rear end should make a good right angle drive, but if its double the drive shaft speed I will have to do some rear-gearing on my chain drive sprockets. I guess I can jack up one side of my pickup and spin the drive shaft and count the revolutions for shaft and wheel.
