There is a 3800? on ebay that has 20" 5 lug wheels. Is the owner mistaken or did they come that way in '52?

Could be a 1.5 ton or a mix and match of parts....
Model of truck is more than the emblem on the hood.
Have any pictures??

looks like a 3800, but standard 1T's had 18" wheels, 20" came on 1.5T's 4100 and up .... but anything could have been special ordered

Well, the link is gone... but search ebay for "1952 3800"
From what I can see it's most likely a 1.5 ton model 4100 with the heavy front axle option.

The front bumper is for a 1.5 or 2 ton, and without making brackets it won't fit a 1 ton frame.
Front fenders and running boards look like big truck stuff, not small truck.
Frame appears to be not as big as for a 2 ton, so my guess is 1.5 ton. And if it were a 2 ton very likely it would have a 2 speed rear and they don't mention that.

Not a 3800 1 ton from what I can see...
