Are the Radiator supports the same from 1947-1954 for for GMC & Chevy 1/2 ton trucks ?

I would say for 1947 to 53, they are different. The top is different for sure and I think there is a difference in radiator placement.

I think the frames are different between the GMC and Chevrolets where the support bolts onto the cross support. This makes the supports different. The GMC support is taller.

There are no cross braces on my '48 3100. I'm not sure when they came in.
