Anyone have a picture or page out of a manual they can send me that shows the front center brake line (crosses under the front of the motor.) GMC 2WD manual brakes

I'm trying to replace it. The original has sprung a leak.

I got a front kit from Inline Tube (exactly twice the price of others) and it does not have the rubber/protective material around it. Inline says their's have it where it was on the original, so I'm trying to find a picture.

In any case what material can I put around it if Inline says can't produce it? I was thinking just to slit a rubber hose and then tape it back up.

Thanks in advance.

They make a plastic line covering in different sizes similar to a electrial wire covering. I also used the rubberized tubing and brake line clamps. They are similar in shape to the nylon electrial clamp only made of metal and have a rubber insert. Your local auto supply will have these. I used these on my brake line under the motor and above in the cross member channel. I bolted them to the cross member. It makes for a ridged installation mounted in the rubber. Infact I did my Fuel lines and Brake lines this way.
