HI need help verfiing the vin on my fire truck I know its a 1960-1966 truck. Its a 4400 GMC. Vin number v4008f11345e any help or a Vin buster so I can verfiy year to DMV title does not have a year on it big problem.

The "F" is the code for the year, but GMC made this code a little confusing. The "F" actually means '64 to '66. The '64 and '65 GMC's are very much alike, but if the truck has the original Grille with the original GMC Letters, and you can show me a picture of it, I can tell you if it is a '66.

the letters was changed becouse thay were broken
