For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2001 Posts: 439 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2001 Posts: 439 | Tried a search as someone has to have encountered it before, but didn't find anything. My signal light flasher flashes constantly, like every 3 seconds. (the flasher makes the clicking sound and the middle light on my signal light switch flashes too). The signal lights on the exterior of the truck don't flash. Does anyone have any tips to fix this as it is fairly annoying? Thanks! | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | My guess would be the flasher has malfunctioned. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 295 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 295 | Industrial wiring is simple for me - automotive I have to think about it.
turn filament and brake filament are one and same? SO on rear if you have a turn signal going and step on brake the filaments go to constant on from flash. Fronts are not affected by brake. CORRECT??
Uhh your turn signals do work?? What happens if you pull all four lamps out? 3 second flash rate sounds about right for good filaments with one burned out (open) it is faster ???

All four signal lights work fine. Same with brake lights. One signal light in the front is brighter for some reason (still haven't figured it out, I see there is a post on here about it). | | |
