I am putting my 1962 chevy truck body on a early to mid 80's chevy 4x4 frame. and I was wondering what kind of problems I will have to look forward to.

Cab and body mount placement will be the biggest obstacle i think.

Yeah, I'm in the middle of that now. Trying to put a 64 on 80's 1 ton frame. The front cab mounts are close but the rear mounts are on the inside of the frame and the cab holes are on the out side of the frame. I also just recieved my inner fenders and radiator support from LMC to help line everything up. I'm still scratching my head about how poorly they fit together. any Ideas?

Weve got a 61 mounted on a 1988 blazer 4x4 frame and it looks like it is a factory setup. we just recently purchased the truck and are getting ready to do a groundup restore. the cab mounts are in line with the blazer frame locations perfect. IM going to replace the front and rear mounts and also both floor pan sections due to the rust. the rest of the trucks sheet metal is like new. I guess the previous owner did not want to tackle it.
