There doesn't seem to any agreement.
Has anyone had and experience with Classic Car Motor oil?
They claim it's the one.

Use a quality brand oil, like Valvoline or Castrol.
If you have a fresh rebuld, Rotella would also be good to use.

Like Superfly I have a Babbit Pounder 216 and have over 100,000 miles on it and have used a High Grade 10-30 since the start. So far it still runs great. I change my oil every 60 days regardless of the mileage. Oil is cheaper than any failures. I buy it by the case and shop sales.
