I have a 62 gmc sub it came with the v6 and four speed trany. My question is this does any one know what the gear ratio would be without me having to pull the cover off and count teeth?

it's not how much time you spend on it, it's how you spend your time with it

According to 6066 GMC trucks It could have been a 3.07:1, 3.54:1 or 3.92:1.

You can figure a close guess by jacking one wheel off the ground and count how many times the driveshaft rotates with 2 full turns of the wheel.
