There was a paper gasket between the drum and the spindle mount. Anybody know where I can get replacement gaskets? | | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,544 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,544 | If you really want them you will probably need to get some gasket paper and make them. | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | That gasket was primarily to prevent rust between the drum and hub, which could cause the drum to stick to the hub. It isn't 100% necessary to replace it. A VERY LIGHT coating of anti-seize will do the same thing.
