will the 16 inch 6 lug 1960 rims work on 1948 6 lug hub and cold i use 1948 center caps. thanks

The 1960 rim should fit on a 1948 . The 1948 centercaps will not fit on the 60's rims though.

I heard from a usually reliable source that the wheels change occurred in 1961. If the '60 wheels have hubcap clips they should work. If they have the nubs your hub caps won't fit.

what Cletis sez - the last year for clip-on-caps was 1960 .... the pre-55 wheels have 6 clips, the 55.2-60 have 3 clips, if the wheels have clips they'll work
