Thinking about Sid's for the front but for the rear, my axle sits under the springs and flipping it would probably lower it more than I'd like to so I was thinking of using 3 inch lowering springs. Would like opinions, etc. on those who have used them. Do they really lower 3 inches and how's the ride comfort, etc.

A flip kit, lowering springs, or just removing some rear leaves will get you down in the rear. Type "rear axle flip" into the search box and you'll get hours of fine reading material. That's why I figured on just using 3" lowering springs (for the rear). I called Sid, very nice fella. Mine has factory overloads so I will need new u-bolts before customizing springs. And before anyone says anything. Yes I know its dangerous to remove springs.
