Does anyone have any tips or instructions on installing window wipes?
It's a 1952 Chevy Pickup.

I don't know if window sweeps were still using staples in '52 or not. Most of the vendors sell tiny screws for mounting the sweep, just be sure to countersink them enough to not mar your glass.

Staples were used at least until the end of the Advance-Design years (mid 1955). Some people have reported using screws as Tiny suggests, or glue/adhesive, or pop-rivets, or staples (or glue and staples, for the "correct" appearance).

Staples used to be included with replacement beaded inside-window seals but maybe not now?

As Tim said, there are many ways to fasten them, here are some pictures of the way I did mine. The vendor supplied staples were had the wrong spacing so I made my own then transferred the original holes in the garnish to the cat's whisker and fastened with my staples. Looks exactly like the original without drilling any new holes or using any glue that would loose its grip or be difficult to remove later without damaging the paint.

I'm trying to replace what Chevys of the 40's call "window sweeps" and wow wondering about any tips on how to get those installed. Are they stapled in as well?
