Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks.
Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.
As of 10-26-2022, A 55.2 Taskforce long bed now the work begins

It is not necessarily an overdrive, that was an option on them, same as the GM transmissions. IIRC, the overdrive varaint was the T85N. The bolt pattern is not the same as GM. Better bet would be to use the SM318, as it is a drect bolt in.

That one will have the GM pattern. It is also a side shift transmission, operated from the column just like the standard 3 speed. The Jeep version is the only one I'm aware of that used a floor shift.
The GM version T85 was not available with overdrive.
