can an entire bed off one AD truck be removed and transferred to another AD truck in it's entirety without taking it apart into it's respective components?

if so, what steps would need to be taken to disconnect the bed, lift it to anther truck, and reattach it?

I did mine, but without the wood floor still in it. Just took me and my son-in-law to lift it.

Another thing you can try if you have the stuff to do it is:

Method 1: Back truck with bed under carport or barn. It is MANDATORY that you have a very sturdy structure for this! If you are unsure if your structure can handle this, better safe than sorry! Disconnect all wiring from the truck that goes to the bed. Unbolt all the bolts that are holding your bed to the frame. With chain hoist, wrap heavy duty straps or chains around the sides and bottom of the bed. Using the chain hoist, lift the bed about a foot above the frame. Look under the bed to make sure that nothing else is connected to the frame. Drive truck forwards and out of the way. Back other truck under the bed. Lower the bed onto the truck and reattatch all wiring and bolts. Test lights and check all wiring and hardware for looseness, misalignment, or incorrect placement.

Method 2: Disconnect all wiring that goes from the truck to the bed. Remove all hardware holding on the bed. Pull tractor behind or on the side of the truck with pallet or hay fork on the front end loader. Lift the bed off the truck SLOWLY. Or lift bed off the truck and pull the truck forward. Put bed on other truck and reattatch all the wiring and hardware. Test all lighting, wiring and hardware for looseness, misallignment, or misplacement.

Method 3: Disconnect all wiring that goes from the truck to the bed. Remove all hardware holding on the bed. Have a few buddies hellp you and lift the bed off the truck and place it on the other truck. Test all lighting, wiring, and hardware for looseness, misallignment, or misplacement.

Rednecks final step: take off your shirt and drive down the freeway with the windows down and jammin to lynard skynard.
