The stock 'stange II/Pinto swaybar has the big "dip" right in the middle - it hanges lower than my crossmember ! Can't afford the Chassis Engeneering one . I sorta remember somewhere someone said a GM "G" body one fits but I am nowhere near one to measure one . | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | Sorry I can't offer any options Bears, but I'll be watching this thread too. Here is New England with all the rough roads, pot holes, frost heaves etc. we've had problems with the dip of the OEM sway bar hitting the roadway. If you live in an area where all the roads are smooth you'll be OK.

Why does the original 'stang one have a dip anyway,is it to clear something? 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in ScotlandIn the Stovebolt GalleryMore pix on Flickr. I have read that it would work good for the Rear sway bar , flip it over so the dip goes over the center section of the rear diff. I had a stocker on front of my truck for a while and it drove much better but caught too many roadkills ! | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | The dip is to clear the front sump oil pan on the Ford car. I think what you are looking for is primarily something the right width--depending on the track width of your truck, which may not be right with the stock MII sway. Try Addco http://www.addco.net/ or one of the chassis folks like Fatman's or Heidt's. Of course you may get into fabbing the mounts a bit, but some adjustable end-links can make that pretty easy. Good luck, hope this helps.
