You have to have the fitting key,,then do the deal with the paper clip and twist it all the way to the right or left, depending on which type of lock. I have a ring of abt. 150 keys and usually open them that way. Good luck,,and be careful drilling it,,just a little too far and you can ruin the switch body. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 49 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 49 | if you don't have the key that fits you'll have to drill it loose where/ picture? drill size? | | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | look at your new replacement, the plate down one side holds in the springs that keep the tumblers in place - look at the size of the tumblers on the exposed edge, use any size that'll cut the tumblers ..... supposed to be a place in the back where a small hole drilled will zap the nub the holds the cylinder from coming out, never done it myself, but maybe you can figure it out
of course like Marty sez, easier with a key, and a locksmith could make you a new one

Bill THANKS! new set on UPS truck ($54) cause only local locksmith(100,000 people and only one will work on it) wants $45 for first lock and 30 for second. I have a key I want to match a couple locks. Chevy duty is sending me 2 sets(one for each of my rigs) keyed alike. | | |
