I know that the end date is wrong, Maple Leaf trucks were produced until at least 1950, I know this because I have one. Maple Leafs were 2 1/2 ton and 3 ton trucks which wore the Chevrolet Marque. In 1939 GMC released a new engine with full precision bearings, after this point all 3 ton Maple Leafs were powered by GMC engines, for some reason the 2 1/2 ton trucks continued to be powered by the Chevrolet truck engine of the period.
