The stovebolttech tip is good
I used
Nathan Hall's instructions on Deves site.
I will note,
the stovebolttech tip sets exhaust valves at .013 (might be for a 216)
Nathans Hall's tip set exhaust at .018
all set the intakes at .006
All readings Hot
The manual for my 235(54 car without power glide) states .016 for exhaust
Consult your shop manual.
I set mine recently after replacing a bent push rod. First time I ever did it.
Made a diagram per the tip,I took as found reading and wrote them down, they were all off.
After setting correctly the truck ran and sounded 10 times better.
