we took the 2 ton to a show in houston (4hr trip)and it made it no problem. entered it in the show and it took "top 3 truck- most original"! drove it to work yesterday and the throwout bearing went out. oh well. needed to re-build the tranny anyway. here is a link to the pics. it is about half way down the page in the middle -DVZ

Way to go, looked like a fun car show, a nice variety of cars and trucks. I see you put the second tire on the back, did it help the stability on the freeway? cheers Mike

Good deal, I bet that was a fun little road trip. How did it do on the freeway (interstate?) At least it waited until you got close to home before the bearing let loose. Is that Johnny Cash on your headliner? Cool.

yeah, the show was pretty cool even though it was 70 and sunny on friday, rainy and about 50 w/ wind the day of the show, and then sunny and 70 again on sunday. go figure -texas weather.... it's ironic that you mentioned the dually. yes, it did in fact help w/ stability. truck ran comfortably at around 60mph. it's funny to see how many people are in such a hurry that 60 in the slow lane still isn't fast enough. yes, that is the man in black on the celing. -DVZ
