My 3800 has a couple of lines that are not hooked to anything. In the first photo you see that one is connected to a broken fitting at the intake manifold where the windshield wipers should be attached. The other line is between the carb and valve cover. Both are marked with green masking tape. In the 2nd photo you see the other ends of the lines below the fuel pump. In the 3rd photo you can see that they are routed along with the spark advance line. It appears that they went from the intake manifold to something below the fuel pump and hydrovac then back up to the windshield wipers. Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks.

Jeff

Thanks Bill. I suspected it was for some type of accessory but I didn't know what. I'll do some checking to see if there's any chance of finding one of those fuel pumps. I've never heard of it before so I suspect they might be rare animals.

Classic Parts has them for $95. I need to make sure my vacuum wipers work ok before I spend that money. If not I'll buy electric wipers instead. Thanks for the help.

I'd suggest the electric wipers are the way to go, much more dependable long term

Hello Jeff,

I've been looking for dual action fuel pump lines. If you don't goe withthe dual action I'm interested in purchasing them.

You can bend your own lines.
Were they ever pre bent, from the factory so to speak? Or were they always custom made when the dual action pump was put on?

If installed at the factory or purchased at the dealer they would have been pre-bent.

If anyone has rusted or no good for use I could use them as a pattern. pattern.
