I'm getting ready (mentally that is) to replace the wiring harness on my 41 chevy. What brand harness do you all suggest,or which one don't I want, the one from Jim Carter, Chevs, Painless, ron francis??? I want the original look alike, modern wire with the cloth loom type of harness.
Thanks, Rob

i got one for my 40 from carter. looks good and is just as functional as orginal at a lot less deniro's. since im not into the concourse thing i passed on the cloth covered one and used that money elsewhere where it was needed at the time.

I used American Autowire, PowerPlus20 unit, a modern configuration for a generic hot rod. One of the better prices but not the lowest, well labeled, overall would give it the thumbs up.
