For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 81 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 81 | I purchased a 65 C-10 about a month ago and transferred into my name through the local licence office. The Vin# started as C1445N******
Yesterday, I purchased what I was told to be a 64 C10 But, later last night I noticed on the Bill of Sale for the 64 C10 the Vin# also started C1445A******
So, do I now own a second 65 C10? If so, my bill of sale is incorrect... right?
Thanks for any help in advance.

If no one jumps in, I'll break out one of my Chevy books to check on it for you. I can't remember it good enough without checking in the book, but it does look like both trucks are the same year.

My thoughts are to get the bill of sale(BOS)correct before I go to the bureau to transfer it. Here in my area, the non title vehicles have to be verified by a person within the bureau or a police officer. All in all its not a bad thing the truck is a 65 since I was looking for a donor for my first 65 C10! Yet, it would be my luck to get one of those authority persons that can be a hard case! ... LOL.
