The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Interiors 59 Apache Plastic Knobs or Metal

My truck has a mix of knobs. I would like to get close to orginal as possible. I am missing some and not sure witch ones go where. Can anyone post a picture of the correct placement of the knob controls?

If your into original then you should also have an Operators manual, you can get them from any old truck parts supply house. It will show you the proper place to for the control knobs.

Mine is like that. But I removed the deluux heater controls and installed a heater switch were the optional cig lighter was. Cant seem to find the black plastic knobs any were. All i can find new is chrome

some places have black plastic knobs as replacement for the headlight switch [without the shaft] which can be adapted for other positions - everybody carries the black knob vent, choke and throttle cables - the original black heater fan knob is hens teeth, as are the black 'blank out' heads - the original chrome knobs were metal, the repros I've seen are plastic
