Has anyone ever tried to mount a late model spindle on 46 axle to get disc brakes?

I plan to give it a try this weekend.

First off though, does your 46 have the heavy axle with 1.109" kingpins? If so it should have bolt on hub grease caps, not press in ones.

Just got it home last weekend I'll look to see which one it has. I have not ran the #'s yet to see what it is the guy told me it was a 2 ton.
