What type of muffler would be good to make this ride sound good? I have to set the timing next to keep it from backfiring. Then replace the water pump. She cranks everytime now. Waterpump leaks thoe. Then I get to start on the brakes. Whoever owned it before had replaced all the breaks. But there was no fluid in the master. I think I am doing pretty good for not being a machanic. Any help welcome. Thanks Luther...

I put a Brockman Mellowtone steelpack muffler www.brockmancustomparts.com on my '52 GMC COE, with 302 inline 6 cyl. Has a good sound to it. Porter makes a good sounding muffler also www.portermufflers.com.

Spanky,
Great advise on the porter mufflers! Those porters really make the chevy inline sixes sound awesome. Littlebarrel definitely check out the videos on porter's website. Its nice to see quality stuff made in the good old USA once in a while. I think I am going to try one for my 54 since the one I just took off came off in about six pieces.
