I pulled the front drums and hubs off the '48 3600. While doing this I got the bearings mixed up in relation to which race went to wich ball bearing set. All of the races and ball bearings look great! Would you worry about running these? What problems would occur from mixing ball bearings and races? Mine look great and don't really want to buy new bearing and races.

Hy red450IH, I wouldn't really worry about it, if all the parts are in good condition. Clean everything, inspect carefully, repack and re-use if no defects are found, if your truck uses front wheel seals then replace them now, if it uses felt washers, convert it to seals if you can't find new felts. Next time you do this type of work, one container for the parts on each side of the truck, and mark them right and left.

Thanks 3B, I'll put them back in and give them a try. When I took this apart some months ago I had planned to replace the bearings. After looking them over, they look almost new. I have new seals to go back in. They are large DIA but very thin!
