I was wondering if anyone used their big bolt to tow a gooseneck trailer and if so if they wouldn't mind posting a picture of their setup? Long story short I want to install a gooseneck plate but I am having a tough time finding information on where to install the plate. Any help would be awesome.

What year and model truck?
What engine?

Rule of thumb is install the ball a couple inches forward of the center of the rear axle, I'm planning on 2" or 3" for my truck.

Be sure the bed is not so long you can't even hitch up or make a turn.
How much power do you have, is it even a good idea?

Ya my bad year and model probably would help. Its a 1972 c/50 with a 350. Currently however I do have a 12v Cummins sitting in my garage. The bed was made to be removable or interchangable. So plan is to remove bed install plate. Then reinstall bed. Thanks for your help Grigg.

Does anyone have a picture of their big bolt pulling a gooseneck trailer? Im trying to explain to my wife what it looks like but figured a picture would be better.
