What are you thinking for a transmission? The stock driveline isn't likely to survive long behind a big block, but the direction you decide to go will affect some of the other changes you'll need to make.
The stock steering column isn't going to work because of proximity to the exhaust system. Its a problem on a small block, and a big block makes it a bigger problem.
Most the big block AD trucks I've seen used an IFS click or Mustang II suspension at least in part because of the steering issue.

If so you'll need to trial fit the motor/transmission to see where it will fit and then build mounts and crossmember. Make sure you have exhaust and distributor on the motor to make sure you have room for them.
It can be done, I've seen similar ones at car shows.
