Hi guys, building a 46 suburban and am pretty sure I am going to run a smoothie type steel rim with the stock looking center caps. Which size wheels would you or are you running? I was thinking maybe 15x6 up front with 15x7 or 8's out back. They will be 5 lug by the way. What are you 41-46'ers running.

Not staying stock, so I really do not need those opinions.

I don't have one that early, but I do work in the tire industry and can put in some input. A big factor in what width wheel you'll need is the tire size you plan to run. With a 15 x 6, you really limit the width you can run, 215 or 225 would really be the safe limit. If you're wanting a wider tire, go with a 7" rim minimum. Other things to consider is what suspension/rear axle will be used. That will affect the backspacing and potentially width availability.

I'm keeping it simple, I'm going to run 15 X 7 Rally wheels on mine. Probably 235/70/15 on the rear, 225/70/15 on the front maybe a little smaller on the front. I just bought a set that came with 275/60/15 on them but way too tight in the rear due to the stance and no tubs. I have a 75 Nova rear end under it.
