I have a 54 3100 AD and would like ideas on a bench seat that would replace the original but fold forward.I plan on putting the battery behind the seat ( moved tank) and would like to access the storage

I kept my bench seat in my 70 truck, but I wanted to go with a light tan interior, and a more tasteful stitch pattern. I'm a happy camper.

Take your measurements, hit your local salvage yards, and look for a center row seat from a suburban/tahoe/escape, maybe even a mini-van-type vehicle. Find one that the back folds forward and perhaps the seat bottom lifts up allowing access under the seat. I ended up using a '99 Tahoe 2nd row seat in my '56 and have been very satisfied. You might also consider any 60-40 truck or car seat that will fit--only negative would be lack of access under the seat itself.
