I posted this under doors no luck. Can anyone help me with how to get my door windows and wind wings out. She's almost ready for paint.

There is a screw at the top of the door and two behind the door panel that will take your wing window assembly out, you have to roll down the window and twist the it alittle bit and it will come out. Then you will have space to slide the window out of the regulater. I have a '66 like yours and had to fiddle a little bit to pull mine out when I replaced the drivers side regulator and the felt and window channels.

There are three small countersink Phillips-head screws along the front of the door, adjacent to the wing window. There are also two below the window regulator, behind the inner door panel. With the window rolled down, the vent window can be pulled upward & inward, to remove. It will need to be twisted 90 degrees, in order to clear the width of the window opening.

I got the windows out, she went back to my body and paint guy. The windows came out alot easier than I expected. Thanks for your help. I need to pick a color quick. Should have her back in a couple weeks.
