Im going to be putting 3.73's and a locker but I dont know what will be my best choice, also price is very important, the Army doesnt pay that well. If it's before mid-'65, you'll have to swap axle shafts as the splines are different from the available lockers (17 vs 30). And if it's a '60-'62, you're out of luck with the stock diff. No locker being made for those at this time. Now, if you have the later 12 bolt 30 line, then there's several options. If you're wanting a true locking diff (like a Detroit) I'd suggest either the Lock-Right or Detroits easy-Locker. Both install in the stock case with vrtually no modifications. They're also relatively inexpensive.

My C-10 is a 1964, I think, I know the cab is, alot has been done to this truck before i got it, it used to be a stepside, now its a fleetside, and for some reason it has 66 emblems. Anyways im assuming the axle is a 64. I dont have the 12 bolt its a 10 bolt, I dont know if its a Dana 44 or 60. Do you know where I would get axle shafts from? And roughly how much its going to run me. Thanks again. | | |

Eaton lockers are still out there, I just sold one about 2 mos ago. Brian | | |
