on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 237 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2006 Posts: 237 | I'm trying to find an online source for a set of brass freeze plugs (aka core plugs) for a 1958 Chevy 235.
FLAPS does not have one. Archive search did not turn up any information for this year of engine.

Engine Parts Warehouse Memphis 1809 Vanderhorn Drive Memphis, TN (USA) 38134 (800) 238-2508
This is one of several warehouses operated by the Internal Engine Parts Group. I deal with their Nashville warehouse a lot.
Thery're mostly a wholesale distributor, but they can probably give you a part number and a brand name if they won't sell directly to you. Jerry

Sorry about that. I checked back a few years and really only see them for much earlier 235's, but I would think since in that era they all were nearly the same that an earlier set would work. Although inconvenient you could buy them individually by size.

They just didn't come as a set like they do for other engines. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | funny John, I was gonna suggest that, I've always been able to get any size individual brass plug from my local NAPA Bill | | | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 84 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 84 | Im going to need a set myself!
