Picked up the newest Hemmings Motor news and there is a nice article with basic info on our awesome suburbans, worth checking it out.

Yes, basic info but at least it's correct. I had to correct the author a few years ago for an article about '54-55 GMCs. He had that all screwed up, including calling them Advanced Design.
