p.s. I don't care about "taking the truck out of the truck" and all that argument. This truck will never haul again.

Measure to make sure it's not too far forward or you'll have a challenge getting all the nose sheet metal to fit without extensive fabrication. You'll have to alter the radiator core support, the lower splash pan, and inner fenders. For example an S-10 frame has the steering box several inches forward of a Camaro '70-'81 subframe. The frame is the same from 1978 to 1988, with only 1978 and 1979 using some different front wheel bearing and stud combinations if I remember right. I used the Monte because the track width is great for keeping the front wheels tucked inside the front fenders without having to use weird offset front wheels. It is 58.5", and I think the S10 is 54.5". I think all of the Camaro and Nova clips are around 60-61".

| | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 219 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 219 | Wbrowne is right about the steering box being to far forward,I took alook at the monte carlo but chose the camaro instead.You can reuse the rad mounting bracket from your truck and adapt it to the clip with some 1/8 x 3 flatbar.
