Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 47 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 47 | hi guys. i'm installing the glove box door and can't get it to completely shut and engage the latch. i'm working on a 1950 chevy 1/2 ton. i bought and installed the lock/hook mechanism from Classic Parts. the latch on the door hits the hook but the hook does not go down and under the door latch. i assume that's what it's suppose to do. i've tried adjusting the door latch but no luck so far and i'm afraid of breaking it off. how is the hook supposed to engage the door and hold it shut. thanks.
