my 65 GMC only has a one pice drive shaft in it is that the way it should be or should it have a two pice drive shaft?Any help would be appreciated.

If it's a short box it should be a one piece. Long box got a 2 piece.

By long box, do you mean 9ft.? I have a 8ft. with a one piece V-6 and hydromatic
