Having hard time getting the correct front wheel stud for a 59 3800 series one ton dual rear wheel truck. A dorman #620-183 would work but the kurls are wider than the hub flange. Any body had this problem?

How about just grinding or machining the knurl back to the correct length? Will there be a problem with the lack of threads where the knurl would be shortened?

Do you have a Napa nearby? The Napa # for the front is 641-1116 for the stud and 641-2024 for the nut. The knurl dimensions are .625" diameter and 5/8" shoulder length. The flaps you use should be able to cross reference the Napa #s to Dorman.
