I was trying to remove the head light switch unit on 52 AD, I remove the threaded part from dash, now I am trying to remove the knob with the shaft, it seems like a screw with spring on the back side is holding the switch shaft. But the screw with spring keeps rotatiting, does anyone know how to remove knob, I need to take the whole thing out as I broke the main terminal since it was all rusted.

Found the answer by searching and this is the answer
There is a button on the switch part under the dash. Reach in there and find it. Then turn the switch knob all the way to the left (dome light position) push the button and then pull the knob like you are turning on the lights and it will come out.
