found the motor in SD i am in Texas and cant go get it or i would buy it. May be some one might like to try and get it.

also looking for more info. on it.

If its a 300 inline it would be a Ford. GMC made a 302 which was a good engine. They show up ever now and then. I bid $550 on one in San Antonio on eBay a while back and $560 bought it.

its on the auction site GSA auctions it looks like a rebuilt motor in a crate.

GSA is a government organization, or at least associated with the government. That probably explains why they don't know what they have, I work for the government, it is pretty frightening what goes on...
