Ive got a '46 1/2 ton with 15", 5x4.75" passenger car wheels (1949-54 I believe). I was wondering if the proper caps for a '41-'46 truck would fit this wheel?

In general, do hubcaps interchange between car and truck for these years? Wheels within the 1/2t - 3/4t range.

Thanks!

Are the passenger car wheels you have 6 lug? If so, I believe they will work.

I bought '39 passenger car 6 lug wheels and my '46 hubcaps fit those wheels and the '39 hubcaps fit my '46 wheels. Do the wheels have the riveted clips where the hubcap fits?

yes the caps will fit for a given size, the clips are the same on car and truck

excellent, thanks squeeze.

Big Tee. my wheels are passenger car 15" 5 lug with riveted clips. the clips look identical to a set of chevy 6 lug 17" high clearance wheels ive got... i dont have a hubcap on hand to compare. smile

by the way, your '46 is very nice, hope to get my truck in similar shape.
