I was told that my chrome headlight bars and chrome headlights were a option and not usually on many of these trucks. The buckets have some small dings on top from people dropping the hood on them. I am having trouble finding information about restoring them and the proper tools needed.I would like to straighen them out before I send them for rechrome. Can anyone help. There are a few in the gallery and I know of at least one on the oldgmctrucks.com. BARRY WEEKS may be able to help you, he's knowledgeable with the early Chevrolets, not sure about the GMC'S.
